What Nurtura Offers

Three services, each with a clear scope. None of them replace professional advice — each one makes sure your household knows what it holds, what it needs, and who handles what.

All Nurtura services are organisational and educational in nature. Nothing produced constitutes legal, financial, or health advice. Where professional input is needed, we note that in writing and indicate the type of qualified person or office to approach.

Why Families Choose Nurtura

Clear written output every time

Every appointment ends with a document index or written plan — something a family member can read independently, not just a verbal rundown.

Scope stated plainly upfront

Each service comes with a written description of what it covers and what it does not. Nothing professional is implied; referrals are noted where needed.

Works across the whole household

Whether the household has young children or an ageing parent, the output is written so any adult member can follow it — not just the person who attended.

Based in Kuching, Sarawak

Nurtura works with families in Kuching and surrounding areas. Walk-in appointments and local delivery are available without the need for remote coordination.

Fixed-scope, fixed-fee services

Each service has a stated price and a defined scope. There are no add-ons billed separately — families know what they are paying before the first appointment.

Sensitive material handled with care

Documents are recorded in index form only. No originals are retained, copied or transmitted outside the household's written instructions.

A place to start — if it feels like the right time.

There is no obligation in making contact. If you would like to know more about any of the services, or simply ask a question before deciding, we are available by phone, email or the form below.

Common Questions

What happens during the Household Documents Stocktake?
A Nurtura coordinator meets with you at a time and place that suits the household. Over two hours, we work through the categories of documents a household typically holds — identity papers, school records, household agreements you have written yourselves, insurance correspondence, contact lists for the services you use. We record what you have and where it is kept, and compile that into a written index. We also note anything you said you intended to locate or replace. Nothing is assessed, advised upon, or taken away.
Is the Caring Together Workshop delivered online or in person?
The workshop runs in person in Kuching, in groups of up to twelve participants. Five sessions are spread over several weeks so siblings can apply the tools between meetings. A printed workbook and template pack are handed out at the first session. Personal care situations are not discussed in the group setting — all examples used are anonymised.
What does the Family Continuity Programme include over twelve months?
The programme begins with the Stocktake appointment, then sets up a shared household calendar with a written change protocol. We maintain the document index, updating it when things change — a new insurance policy, a child starting school, an address change. Quarterly review meetings keep everything current. At the end of the year, we produce a handover pack that any adult in the household can use to pick up coordination without a briefing from another family member.
Do you provide legal or counselling services?
No. Nurtura's work is organisational and educational only. We do not review documents for legal content, offer care decisions, provide counselling, or act on behalf of a family member in any professional capacity. Where a question falls outside our scope, we note it in writing and indicate the type of qualified person or office that handles it — a lawyer, a registered social worker, a government department, or similar.
How are the prices structured?
The Household Documents Stocktake is priced at RM 470 per appointment. The Caring Together Workshop is RM 1,720 per participant for all five sessions, workbook and templates. The Family Continuity Programme is RM 4,400 for the full twelve months. All prices are stated before any booking is confirmed. There are no add-ons or fees outside the stated amount.
Is my household's information kept private?
Yes. We record only the index information — what documents exist and where they are kept. No original documents are retained, copied, or shared outside the household's explicit written instructions. Any digital records produced under the Family Continuity Programme are held on storage media the family keeps, not on Nurtura's servers.
Can I book just one appointment without committing to a longer programme?
Yes. The Household Documents Stocktake is a standalone appointment with no follow-up obligation. Many families start there and decide later whether a longer arrangement suits them. There is no requirement to proceed to the Continuity Programme, and there is no discount withheld for choosing the single appointment.
